Your download speed is about 1 Mb/second. This is the speed you can pull things from the internet down to your computer.

Your upload speed is about 316 Kb/s. This is the speed that you can send things out from your computer to the internet.

(note those are megabits and kilobits. Divide by 10 for kilobytes/s. (There are 8 bits in a bite, plus a little overhead).

Latency is the response time for a round trip to the speed test server. A packet goes from your computer to theirs in about 58 miliseconds.

San Francisco, CA is a major city in northern california, which is where the speed test server is located. (ok, i'm being a smartass.)
