Doing a little research, I find myself at the French Foreign Legion's website.

The maximum age for enlistment is 40.

I'm 40.

Read a "Mouthful of Rocks" and then decide whether you want to be treated as an illiterate third world peasant in basic training.

The Paras are the worst, the ohter units less so.

This may have changed but I doubt it.
