OK, sometimes I'm too logical...

I just had a moment's gloating over spotting a logical fallacy in a TV show.

The Fairly Oddparents, to be exact.

I watch FO, yoo. What did you spot??

The episode where Timmy's wishes end sleep.

He phrased the wish this way: "I wish that nobody has to sleep." Not that nobody could sleep. His wish removed the biological need for sleep from everyone on Earth at that point. Therefore, all the effects of sleeplessness shown wouldn't happen.

Indeed...and I agree.

I'm glad I'm not the only one "our age" who watches that show...is it just me, or is the age where you're "old" keep getting "older"?

I mean...I *STILL* don't have much in common with most people 5-10 years older than me...but I get along with most anyone my age (38) and younger...music tastes, TV shows (and hatred for all but a few), etc...all the way down to the 14 year old kids in the local Airsoft group...
One of them was fairly astonished when I knew who 10-Foot-Pole and Propaghandi are.
Even moreso when I had them both on a CD in my car.
