Huh. The things that slip my mind.

I could have sworn I posted about this, but its not here.

Well, what i meant to post was that this past Saturday kshandra and I spent a lovely afternoon with our niece, madelineusher. We ran a few errands, managed to pry her from the Magna section of the bookstore with minimal bloodshed (I, on the other hand, required a crowbar to separate me from another new Turtledove)

After a food court lunch/dental extraction, we went to The Tech Museum of Innovation and played. Had far too much fun on the earthquake simulator, and might have actually learned a few things (like how to swear in Japanese, thanks Lenore!)

We had planned on dinner, but I think we all ran low on energy at the same time.

my teenager is nowhere near as impressive as your niece, but she would get a huge kick out of the museum. her soical studies teacher will also give her extra credit for going to a museum, so she will be glad to hear if it... she really liked the exploratorium, and we need to go back sooner rather than later.
