Job stuff

Had an interview this morning at Kelly Services for a driving job, which turns out to be with PODS. $12/hr, and from what I see it's a good company to work for. My agent at Kelly (I have an agent? I want 2.3 million a year, two lockers, a barcalounger, and a pony!) says that the company is moving quickly on these applications. Evidently they're expanding quickly in the area.

If I get this, I'll need to go to San Diego for about a week's training. No biggie there.

But I'm still looking...

Apprentice Electrician This one is a long shot, but I've always been fascinated by the trades and if they are really looking for a true apprentice...

Interestingly enough, apprentices get priority seating in community colleges, for any course relevant to their trades. :)

... you're saying Kelly wants you to be a POD person.

Would fit well with my alma-mater, Miskatonic Univeristy. Go 'pods!

I studied Applied Theology.

If you're sent to San Diego, be sure to take the trolley over the border and pick up cheap meds and booze. Lots of stuff that's prescription-only there is OTC there and cheaper than in the U.S. and is usually made by U.S. companies.
