We were at the after-meeting pizza bash for out local Dr. Who fan club, and I heard Kiri mention a vague interest in the Grateful Dead. We chatted a bit, and in the parking lot I gave her a hug (which was way out of character for me.) A few weeks later, we went to see the Jerry Garcia Band in SF. A few weeks after that we drove to LA to see the Dead, and on the way back up I proposed.

I think Evil Steve might have some problems with #5...

Since the Dead helped my amigo meet his gal, I will no longer badmouth them (well, not as much as I used too). :-p
