Well, shit.

I didn't get the PCO job.

What the hell do I have to do? I made the first interview, and the second was mainly about my availability, which is pretty much unlimited.

*sigh*

I need to figure out how to get back into school and get a degree in something.

But tonight, I drink beer. Because while it isn't a solution, getting toasted will stop me from throwing shit through the windows.

Oy, that sucks. I'm sorry. :-(

That sucks and blows.

I've been turned down for a few places I could never figure out why. In one place I was told I was told they only called in the top 4 candidates for interviews and they where hiring for 2 positions.

Of course the guy was a stinky doo-doo head.

That just fucking sucks.

If you still want one during the con, I'll buy you another beer.

Thats sucks.

Check with your local VA and state Voc Rehab offices about the availability of tuition assistance. Here in Tennessee state schools offer disabled students classes for $75 per semester. There are strings attached and your milage may vary, but it's gotta be worth looking into. I'm back in school because its the only way to get a job I can actually do with my handicaps.

Good Luck!

Hugs. I'm sorry, hon.

way back when I was doing some job hunt training, the guy said the best advice he could give for when you didn't get a job, is call back and ask why. Something along the lines of "Thank you for considering me for the position, I was wondering if you could tell me why I wasn't selected, so I can focus on areas that I need improvement in."

Sounds like sheer smarmy BS, but at least half the time you'll not only get an answer, but tips about improving your interview skills.

I'm so sorry.
