Since they produce about twenty-five episodes of the various L&O series each calendar day, I don't expect I shall ever catch up :>

I really only watch the original, and this was a Lenny Brisco/Mike Logan story.

Basic idea was that a woman is gunned down, and her organs harvested. While trying the gunman, it is learned that the procedure for decalring the victim legally brain dead wasn't followed, and she may have been alive at the time of the organ harvesting.

Little research shows that it was the 8th season episode titled "Harvest"
