John went to that to humor me, and he ended up loving it.

Amazingly enough, it's a movie with *no* cursing and no sex and it still managed to be great.

The thing that really got me was Syndrome. Took me right back to my childhood.

Do you remember those old Rankin & Bass Christmas shows? The ones with Rudolph and the snowman narrator? There was one called "The Year without a Santa Claus" where Virginia loses her spirit of Christmas (or something like that) and the only way she can regain it is if it snowed on Christmas Day. Only problem is, their town never gets snow. So Mrs. Claus goes to the Snow Miser and the Heat Miser to try to get them to agree to this.

When I saw Syndrom for the first time, I IMMEDIATELY thought of the Heat Miser because THEY HAVE THE SAME HAIR! Same colour, same style. I'm sure it must be an homage to those animators. :)

And ya, Edna TOTALLY rocks!!! :D

My favorite character would have to be Helen "Elastigirl" Parr. She's smart, sensible, very competent in all her fields (hero, mother, even pilot), and pretty hot for a toon.
