Argh.

Ken Hite is going to be at DunDraCon in two weeks.

Ken Hite is one of my favorite game authors, and author of the supremely weird Suppressed Transmission.

DunDraCon costs $25 for a one day membership.

Which I don't have.

Grumble.

Have you got paypal?

Through Kirsten's address. It's linked to the bank account.

Okay. Payment cancelled. Paypal has a hold on the funds - as soon as they release it, I'll resend it.

Ask to volunteer. Or be a guest. You're a game professional.

He's not a big enough "name" (alas) to be able to snag a guest membership at this late a date.

WRT volunteering, most conventions out here ask you to pay for your membership in advance, which you then "work off" at $x/hr; you can either get a check cut at the end of the weekend or roll that over for a membership to the following year. (Which is why I'm not volunteering at Pantheacon that same weekend.)

That's different, the con's up here in Oregon give you a discount for volunteering, heck, I get a discount for running MiB events.

Have fun, and know that you bask in my bitter, bitter envy. We can't afford to go this, to far and to much money. : (
