My shopping is finished.
Had to go down to work to get my paycheck. This was amusing.
Me: "Hey, Eddie, I need..
Eddie (my GM) "Doug, there's a drawer on two already counted out, so go ahead and take that one."
Me: "Um, boss? I'm not working today. I just want my paycheck."
Eddie: "No. I'm kidnapping you!"
Me: "Sorry, I have a life planned for today."
Eddie: "Who told you you could have a life?"
After that, walked to the bank, got money, and came back to the store to get Kiri's Super-Secret Present. Grabbed that, and a giuft bag, and hmm.. the Nyakers Gingersnaps are 40% off..
So for once I had to wait in line. Nice to see it from the customers' perspective. We do move that thing quickly.
Later today, the Berry clan is going to Christmas in the Park down at Plaza de Caeser Chavez, then to dinner.
Man, is it good not to be working today!
