No.

Yesterday at work I was strolling along doing nothing and getting paid for it.

The mall's radio is tuned to a sort of "hard oldies" station.. lots of sixties rock, lite seventies stuff. Then I heard three *very* familiar power cords.

KISS. Rock and Roll All Night.

In a shopping mall. Youth is dead.

Be strong hon...this too will pass.

And look at it this way...at least it wasn't muzak. (*shudder*)

Heh... I might actually not avoid malls like the plague if I thought I'd hear that kind of music when I went there. :)

Unfortunately, the trend around here seems to be for hip hop and teen boy-band music the few times I've been forced to go to a mall for something.

That's not as bad as the VH1 'Behind The Music' featuring Anthrax.

*bouncing head up and down listening to "Rock and Roll all Night" in my head*

Be grateful it wasn't the Muzak version. (Yes, there *is* a Muzak version, and Muzak versions of "Beth" and "Black Diamond")
