With my birthday approaching..

The other day, [livejournal.com profile] fimbrethil asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I choked. I honestly couldn't think of anything that wasn't extravagant and somewhat silly. Plus, I don't really need a laptop or a Harley (hell, I refuse to drive! A motorcycle would be a bit of a waste..)

But, I figured out what I want that I probably wouldn't buy for myself.. The Hero System.

HERO System 5th Edition

Champions

Conquerors, Killers, And Crooks

VIPER: Coils of The Serpent

UNTIL Superpowers Database

and, and.. hell. Just about everything on this page.

Now, I don't expect these, but it's nice to know that I can still think of silly things that I want. (Traveller products aren't silly.. they are life!)

just get Hero 5th edition, you dont need it and Champions really

then consider Spacers Toolkit and Starhero

Thanks. Please e-mail your snail mail to me and if this list isn't in order of preference, please make it so.

Well, I hope you get...

... whatever you want on that list, but I still must offer condolences that you insist on the Evil Hero System!!!

:)

For superhero games, I love Hero. I'd never use it for anything else.

My preferences:

Epic Fantasy: D&D3e (Haven't bothered with 3.5 yet.)

Science Fiction: GURPS (for Traveller on my own settings)

Horror: Call of Cthulthu or GURPS

Superheroes: Champions

With a special nod to CORPS, which I would use more often if I could convince people it was a great system.

BTW: I love you icon. I swear it looks like a hooded figure half the time, then a jellyfish the other half.
