WTF?

There's a Dodger's fan at the Giants game.

Hat, jacket, the whole deal. Masochism is one thing...

Oh, and Scott Eyre can kiss my butt.

I saw that.

You'll find his blue-clad corpse floating in the Cove tomorrow.

Reminds me of the time my brother-in-law (a Redbirds fan, naturally) went to a Cardinals-Cubs game at Wrigley. It was a chilly day, so he wanted to buy a sweatshirt. Needless to say, Cardinals' sweatshirts were decidedly not available at the Wrigley Field concession stands. Nothing but Cubs garments were to be had that day.

Undaunted, my brother-in-law made his point in a fiendishly subtle way:

He bought and wore a sweatshirt emblazoned with words to the effect of "Chicago Cubs: 1908 World Champions."

I've only been to one ball game in San Francisco: a Cardinals-Giants game back in 1985 (when I was at DLI). That day at Windlestick, there were more of us in Cardinals' red than in Giants' black-and-orange....

We sucked in 1985.

You do know about the Croix de Candlestick, yes? The award given to anyone brave enough to stay to the end of an extra inning night game?
