It's meme time!

Instructions:
On your current playlist, hit shuffle and pick the first twenty songs on the list (no matter how cheesy or embarrassing), and write down your favorite line of the song. Try to avoid putting the song title in the line. Then, have your friends comment and see if they know the songs.

1. Think of bombs, we're poised on the edge of disaster

2. Bang, bang! Shoot 'em up, the party never ends

3. And now what you've all been waiting for, I give you he who suffers the truth

4. You better duck down the alleyway, Lookin' for a new friend

5. Mother was an incubator, Father was the contents of a test tube in the icebox of the factory of birth

6. By May the tenth, Richmond had fell, it's a time I remember, oh so well

7. Heavy decibels are playing on my guitar, We got vibrations coming up from the floor

8. Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me,for me,for me

9. Oh, put me to work In the school book store, Check out counter And I got bored

10. So they fitted up the cyclotron and made themselves a still.

11. Don't forget to call my lawyers with ridiculous demands

12. Well, the night was falling as the desert world began to settle down.

13. Now the wintertime is coming, The windows are filled with frost.

14. Go inside, for your finest inspiration, Your dreams will open the door

15. You wander round this town like you've lost your way

16. Singing, "We're gonna vent our frustration, If we don't we're gonna blow a 50-amp fuse"

17. How many of them can we make die?

18. The only salvation is I'll never see you again

19. Trees went by, me and Del were singing

20. Oh no, not me, I never lost control

Of course, the 21st song to come up would probably have stumped everyone but [livejournal.com profile] isomeme. Does anyone else even remember the APP's weirder albums?

I did skip a few songs, simply because they were too damn obscure (Like Ryan Hopeck's Tribal Council) and I got several Metallica songs in a row.

Hrm. I only see "Band on The Run" in there. Tough meme.

6. By May the tenth, Richmond had fell, it's a time I remember, oh so well

"The Night they drove old Dixie down".

10. So they fitted up the cyclotron and made themselves a still.
"407 Ale" by Tom Smith

12. Well, the night was falling as the desert world began to settle down.

"Horse With No Name"?

17. How many of them can we make die?

"March of Cambreath" Heather Alexander

I don't *have* a playlist. So I can't do this meme.

I may rip the CDs I haven't ripped yet and try it later.

Three correct. You got #12 wrong. (It's "307 Ale", BTW. "153 and one-half percent alcohol")

I was going by memory. And besides, 407 Ale is the Famille Spofulam "upgraded" version. :-)
