I have a theory

Yesterday was Jackie Robinson Day in the Major Leagues. Celebrating the day that Jackie became the first black man to play in the bigs. Celebrations all over the place at every ball game.

The Giants had an off day, and so weren't part of the celebration.. it is my theory that this was planned.

Y'see, Jackie played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, and there is no way in Hell we are spending a day at our home field honoring one of the those bums.

...Dude, it's *Jackie Robinson*. I have no love for the Dodgers, believe you me -- grew up as a NY'er in the '70's, dig? -- but... JACKIE ROBINSON.
