I shall not be at work today.

Yesterday, I started feeling ill at work, and having to walk home during a driving rainstorm didn't help. (The booming thunder really helped ease my mood.. sure, get hit by lightning, that will help!) When I got upstairs, I felt like I had gone a few rounds with an Abrams, and had a hacking cough. I stayed up really late so that my coughing wouldn't wake Kiri.

Woke up after about six hours, and the sore throat is worse. So I croaked in sick, and I'm going to take it easy and see if I can kick this thing before Friday.
