Does anyone else find it strange...

That Live Journal's spell checker doesn't recognize abbreviations like "lj" or "LJ"?

Especially when it's one of the markers for LJ's XML (i.e. <lj user=gridlore> which produces [livejournal.com profile] gridlore). You'd think they'd include their own markup language in their dictionary (and have it work in preview mode).
