The Baseball Gods have mustered,
and we are approaching Baseball Rangarok..
ALCS Game One
Boston Red Sox: 5
New York Yankees: 2
Boston leads the best of seven series 1-0 It should be pointed out that this game was played in Yankee Stadium. I have to wonder how quiet it got in there at the end of a three-hit stranglehold by the BoSox pitchers.
NLCS Game Two
Chicago Cubs: 12
Florida Marlins: 3
Series tied, 1-1
lysana and
bunyip are very happy people tonight.

I fear the possibility of a BoSox-Immature Ursines World Series; they might still be playing (since neither team will be able to win the Series) when next season's spring training starts.

Don't mind him

It's only one game, but still, it's sweet.

Um, yeah.
BTW, which would be more painful for a Yankes fan? Losing to Boston in the ALCS? Or losing to the Cubs in the World Series?

The team with the most World Series wins in baseball history (27, IIRC) dropping the series to the team that hasn't even been since 1908 would be bad, but I think in the Cosmic Order of things, it would be easier for the New York fans to handle. "Hey, at least we knocked out those bums from Boston!"

The Baseball Gods have mustard?
Otherwise, how can they eat their pretzels?
Though I suppose a snit about missing condiments could be the trigger for Ragnarok...
