Oh, son of a..

I was digging through amazing pile of junk mail we get, and I found an unopened letter from EDD.

I was supposed to be at a job session this morning. I called and told them I was very sick this weekend and just forgot the date. So now I have to enter that I was too sick to attend the session on my claim form. I have no idea what this means as far as my claim.

God damn it, we have a mail tray for this reason! and it's filled with everything but mail!

There is a trashcan next to the mailboxes at my apartment complex. Every day, I stop to get the mail on my way in from home, and I sort the junk mail into the trashcan before I even get back in my car and continue home.

The best way to keep the junk mail from overwelming your house is not to let it in. :)

Sorry to hear that it's causing you grief, though. Hope it works out ok. *HUG*

In one household I lived in, I bought several of those stackable filing trays. Each household member got a tray, with their name on it. Stuff for occupant and resident, got stacked next to the trays. Every so often, it'd get dumped into the wastebasket sittting next to the table.

It was handy. Whoever got the mail first would sort it into the trays and then sort their share. As folks got home or woke up, they'd (mostly) check their mail.
