Heavy Metal Sunday is all about the Giants today.

Anyone who reads my journal or my Facebook knows that my beloved Giants are one game away from their first trip to the postseason in seven years. Today is the final game of the season. If we lose today, it's a one-game playoff in San Diego. I seriously considered throwing Europe's Final Countdown up, but I've done it before, and davehogg tends to twitch when he hears that song.

Instead, let's go to the land of snow, Vikings, and universal literacy and health care for Hammerfall, a power metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Formed in 1993, the band has been very active since then, releasing seven studio albums and touring almost constant, save one two year hiatus in the mid-oughts due to rhythm guitarist Oscar Dronjak suffering multiple injuries in a motorcycle accident.
