Heavy Metal (for a gloomy, rainy) Sunday

It's a gray, miserable, wet day here at Heavy Metal Sunday World Headquarters. Good day for a melancholy song.

Faster Pussycat was one of the last of the hair metal bands, mixing hard rock riffs with a glam metal image for a surprisingly successful mix. There biggest success came with 1989's Wake Me When It's Over, which featured the hit single House of Pain.

The band has been through the usual post-grunge line up changes and some unusual legal actions, but here they are, perfroming House of Pain

OK, that worked.

We're watching the Oscar preshow, and the just showed the Price-Waterhouse-Coopers accounts enter... after a video montage of "accountant" comments from films, topped off by the The Crimson Permanent Assurance singing their theme song. Tim Gunn then described their outfits.
