So far, so good, so what.
One day into Operation: Periodontal Swarm and so far no problems. I'm not having any noticeable side effects from antibiotics, and the mouthwash is actually quite pleasant. Managed to eat pizza last night with no difficulty, so the cleaning didn't significantly loosen any teeth.
Today Kiri needs to go get a blood test at her doctor and an oil change for the car (it would be bad to get those errands mixed up) and we're either going to assemble Ikea furniture or do a desperately needed trip to Costco and Safeway. Other than that, I think slug-hood is my big plan for the day.
One note from work. Yesterday a coworker called in that he was going to be late - 15 minutes after his shift started. Boss told him that he'd accept it today, but next time coworker was getting written up. Coworker gets pissed off and tells boss that he's not coming in at all then. People, we just fired/laid off a shitload of people, hours for all the warehouse, office, and sales people have been cut back, and the drivers are being encouraged to try to keep the overtime to a minimum. Does anyone think this is a good time for a hissy-fit?
Pitchers and catchers report next Wednesday!!!! FanFest is today, but in talking to various Giants fans who've been in recent years I learned that the event is usually overcrowded and the lines make Disneyland look like a model of efficient people moving. Now, if they put Brian Sabean in a dunk tank, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
