For a guy who's nearest secondary is 600 miles away...

Flaming Polyamorist
Congratulations! You scored 88% Polyamorous!

You are probably too poly for your own good! It sounds like you try to deal fairly and honestly in all your relationships and communication is a high priority with you! If you didn't cheat on this test, then you probably wouldn't cheat in real life! You, however, are a dyed in the rainbow colors of the parrot poly! So go stick your parrot sticker on your car, if you have one, and be proud!

How do I spell relief? T-R-I-L-E-P-T-A-L

When Kirsten got laid off, we lost our health benefits. Realistically, there was no way for us to make the COBRA payments. This meant that I ran out of Trileptal the other day (we had thought we had more time to get the refill.. oops.)

Needless to say, this stressed me out. Never mind the horrible thought of seizing again, just stopping anti-convulsants cold is a really bad thing to do. So Kiri was doing some benefit hunting, and found a way to get me a free month's supply. Which I just picked up.

Yay Kiri! Yay Drugs!

So now I need to find out if I'm going to get benefits from work - and soon.

These last few weeks has turned me into something of a single issue voter, as you might imagine. I will vote for the candidate committed to establishing national health care with reasonable prescription medication prices. There has to be a stronger safety net than the county ER. It is insane that in this nation, we have men, women and children who cannot get even the most basic preventive health care because of cost.

SWEEP!

San Francisco Giants: 9
Los Angeles Dodgers: 3

Giants sweep the four game series. This is our first 4-game sweep of the Bums since I was eight years old. (June 26-29, 1975.)

Tomko pitched well, AJ is doing what I'd hoped he would do when we acquired him (hitting in clutch situations) and Alfonzo is giving Bonds the protection he needs.

Weirdness: In the second inning, both teams loaded the bases with two outs, and both teams had their pitchers blow the chance to drive in a run.
