Corona fucks things up again

Well, sumbitch. We had tickets to see Megadeth and Lamb of God in a few weeks up at the Concord Pavillion. Of course, that tour was canceled due to the pandemic.

The new dates for 2021 have just been announced. Our show is now on September 2nd. We will be getting dusty at Burning Man on that day.

I'm really pissed since that show was going to be epic. Along with the headliners, Trivium and In Flames were on the bill.

And how many times have you been to Burning Man?  Is anything going to happen there this one time, that will compensate you for the one-time event you'll be missing?  - And constantly aware that you're missing?

What will you be seeing instead, that is worth that irretrievable loss?

Oh bugger!

Are they allowing refunds if the new dates don't suit ticket holders, or did you already get your refund when the show was cancelled?

Would you maybe be able to go to a different venue before or after Burning Man? Like if you're able to travel interstate? I know that's not always an option--I've done it once and it was an exhausting endeavour--but maybe worth investigating?
