And now for a bit of grumping.
OK, I've dealt with the news media's inability to tell a brigade from a division, and misidentifying M-2 Bradley IFVs as tanks, but this one is really getting under my woodland-camo collar.
Jessica Lynch, the first American POW snatched from the arms of her captors since WWII, is not a Private.
She is a Private First Class. A PFC. E-3. Super Private.
This may seem a tiny quibble to some, but I know I was really happy when I got that rocker on my mosquito wings. She earned that rank, and deserves to be addressed correctly.
