We have a winner-take all LJ baseball bet going. Place $20 down, and stake out your team for the best record in the League.

Rule 1. No American League teams. Real pitchers bat.

Rule 2. You have to be fan of your choice. Slavering fanatic would be better.

Anybody interested, leave a message. If more than one person wants to claim a team, it's up to y'all how you split the loot. Which isn't a problem, since the Giants are taking it all!

I find it interesting that three of the four participants to date have picked NL Central teams.

BTW, what happens if nobody picks the NL team with the best record? Do we go with the best record of all teams that were picked by someone, or just call off the whole bet?

I think that best record of those picked is a fine compromise.
