And things just get more awesome!

The pneumonia is mostly gone, but now I've had an allergic reaction to one of the meds and have a full-body rash.

Yes, it itches.

I strongly suspect it is the Amoxicillin. The only other candidate, the codeine-lace cough syrup, was pretty much out of the picture when this began to show up.

That's exactly the symptom I had when I discovered that I'd somehow become allergic to all penicillin-based products (amoxi included).

I have to wear a bracelet because of it, now. I do not envy you this. :(

Ah, amoxicillin. I got an RX for that about ten years ago, in response to a fever of 103. I still remember walking into the 'by appointment only' student medical center at UAH a few days later and just lifting my shirt a few inches at the front desk when they asked why I was there. (It was that or wait until the end of the day to go to the ER, and I was at the 'please remove my skin so it STOPS ITCHING' point)

I was seeing the doctor inside of five minutes. For the next week, people kept asking me if I was contagious.
