The truth is a three-edged sword.

As is a national broadcast of a baseball game. Go to this page, and the first video that comes up is the bottom of the 9th from last night's Game 4 win by the Giants. But you get the Fox Sports call as well as the Giants and Phillies radio calls. Interesting to hear the differences.

Ya think Duane Kuiper (our broadcaster) was just a little excited?

I hate Scott Franzke. They never should have gotten rid of Scott Graham, to be honest, because I don't think Franzke has very much emotion at all.

He does seem rather dispassionate about everything. I love our radio and TV guys, they get into the games on the same level as the fans.

Best game I ever heard Graham do was a game back in '03 at the Vet. Phils beat the Giants 1-0 behind a stellar performance by Kevin Millwood. But all the way through the game, you'd hear Graham reading off the score (R-H-E), or saying things like "The Giants have had two baserunners today, both via the walk." Call it superstitious, but still, he danced around what happened, but didn't actually come out and say it. Contrast with a lot of announcers out there, who will call attention to it from the fifth inning on, it seems.

I'm going to see if I can find you a sample of his work - he was the heir apparent to Harry, and the Phils made a big mistake getting rid of him in '06.
