Thirty days, Day 8

Let's get back on this horse, shall we?

Day 08- Short term goals for this month and why

Well obviously unpacking is the big goal for the month. Not just unpacking, but organizing and establishing this place as a livable home where we can have friends over. The secondary goal is cleaning the old place for the turnover to the old landlords. I'm not expecting our deposit back, but I'm not giving them excuses. Finally, getting Kirsten off to That Thing In The Desert.

You're sacrificing Kirsten to a Thing In The Desert???

Wasn't that one of the Niall of the Far Travels stories (Gardner Fox) in The Dragon back in the day? (checks) Well, it was SET in the desert but it was The Thing From The Tomb...

You go to the thing in the mud at the beginning of the month, I go to the thing in the desert at the end of the month.... ;-)

(Should you happen to encounter Swift Hound Bows amongst the vendors, please tell [livejournal.com profile] dirtwitch that Koosh sends her love? She's been apprenticing under Master Iolo for about a year, now, and the pictures I've seen of her work are lovely.)
