Made it.

In Oregon, alive, and in reasonably good health.

So far, I've had two amazing experiences in bed... playing with the cat last night, and watching Blue's Clues with her Mouseness.

It looks like the Leonids are going to be a wash, it's been grey and drizzliy all day.

More to come.

Where it's not grey and drizzly all the time... just two days out of three.

Interestingly enough (to me, anyway), we have had exactly two days of rain during the four+ months we've been here in the Sinai. They occurred while the Oregon National Guard's Adjutant General was visiting [*]....

[*] I'm deployed here with TF 1-186 IN (http://www.guardian186.info), a battalion task force from the Oregon Army National Guard.

I indulged my inner child this afternoon and got Blue's Clues mac&cheese at the store. I promise I'll think of y'all when I have it. ;-)
