The Giants have named Felipe Alou as their new manager. Alou was one of the original SF Giants back in 1958. Similar style to Dusty Baker. We'll see how he does with the team.
Nobody is getting Darren. MLB is going to enact a minimum age rule for dugout personnel. They were originally saying something obscence like 17 or 18, but the last figure I heard was around 8. Seems many players and managers have heard great things about the Giants' "day-care facility" and what it did for team morale.
I still think that Bud Selig should be the one to have to explain to Darren why he can't do his job next year. Come to think of it, make Darren commissioner of baseball and let Selig shag bats for the Cubbies.
