So, were you watching the night we all believed in miracles?

In 1980, I was living in upper Minnesota and loved hockey.

Hell YEAH, I was watching. I screamed so hard that I was hoarse half the next day. :-)

Ah, perfect for Army Day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defender_of_the_Fatherland_Day). No fear. Mother Russia get you yet, weak Amerikanski!

I was standing in front of a preacher saying "I do." I don't seem too remember much about hockey.

I was in Norway. They had one TV network. That network did almost 24 hours/day Olympics. There was literally nothing else on.

I saw it. & Eric Heiden & the Norwegian biathlon team &... &... .

What I marveled at was the balance of the Norwegian coverage. It wasn't "All about Norway" but they would interview every winner they could & they were always there when somebody, no matter who or from which country, did something incredible.

& there were no commercials.

I was 3. I don't remember much of anything about being 3.
