*wail* I just got Civ 4 The Complete Edition from Direct2Drive two days ago!

(pause) Any good not starter but returning to the game after far too long advice to give? A primer, if you will?

The Byzantines and Holy Romans are good states to work with. Spread your religion as fast as possible and build the Apostolic Palace. Nothing worse than suddenly seeing two AI players vying for a Religious Leader victory.

If you get Montezuma on your border, attack him as soon as you can. He's nuts.

The Great Wall is a nice early Wonder. It blocks barbarians. If you plan on doing a lot of fighting, build the Statue of Zeus, it increases war weariness in your enemies.

The Tech Tree has changed. Be sure to check it out to understand where you are going.

You should have seen me bouncing in my chair and clapping.

I shall pass along your squee to my friend who works for Firaxis. ;)
