I'm a Who fan from way back. I still dream of going to Brighton and sleeping on the beach. They wrote the soundtrack for my teenage years.

The travesty currently unfolding at the Super Bowl halftime show is breaking my heart. They're terrible! Roger can't hold or hit the notes anymore, Pete is relegated to playing rhythm, and the whole thing just hurts.

Holy crap. the scream on "WGFA" was taped. The cut away from Daltry, the lights went off on stage, and the scream was taped.

I know. *sigh* The High Notes are gone. Pete did some lead. And his shirt was a mess at the end. :D
But they haven't held up well.
Did you hear Ringo is touring this summer? He turns 70 in the middle of the tour!

Well, part of the reason why I know how old Ringo is, is the fact that he is 6 months Younger than Big Harold. ;-}
Luckily, I'm 12 1/2 years younger than Big Harold. *whew*

I once walked into a music store in LG (back in the day) & saw all these people standing around looking as if Jesus Christ himself had just been there. It turns out that Ringo had just walked in, bought a bunch of drumsticks & walked out out again.

I never did see him.
