Amazon idiocy.

In case you haven't heard yet, Amazon is removing sales rankings for GLBT books based on their "adult" nature. This purge includes non-fiction and historical works. Oddly, Playboy's "History of Centerfolds" is not being purged.

They are being asshats. Tell them so.

I'm a satisfied Amazon customer. I've order many things from them, and always gotten great service. But I will not spend another penny with them until this policy is reversed and an apology made.

Arg. I'm not sure the petition's addressing the right point, though: hiding "adult" stuff is one thing (although you need an on/off switch as in Google, frex), but labelling all LGBT material as "adult" is quite, quite, wrong, and Amazon do not seem to have addressed this in their comments at all.
