The Thrill is Back!

  • I just ate food. WITH MY DENTURES IN! After close to 12 hours in my mouth I managed to eat a cup of stuffing, chewing involved, and my lower plate held in place.

  • This is a massive goodness.

  • The Giants announced that Will "The Thrill" Clark has been hired as a special assistant. His first assignment will be at Spring Training as a coach and mentor.

  • This is a massive goodness.

  • I made overtime today without really working that hard.

  • This is a massive goodness.

  • My Chemical Romance has covered Desolation Row for The Watchmen soundtrack.

  • This is a massive goodness.

But...

Lynyrd Skynyrd keyboardist Billy Powell has died at 56.
This is a massive suckage.

So many great songs, what's your favorite Skynyrd tune?

Having just listened to the cover version: I am officially revoking your music taste. Clearly you are abusing it if you like that.

Congrats on being able to eat!! Always a good thing. :)

I saw Skynyrd years ago...one of my best concert memories.

Favorite song...favorite song...

Sweet Home Alabama...Free Bird...Gimme Three Steps...

Can't decide between those three...

Curtis Loew or Simple Kind of Man

Coincidentally, my favorite Skynyrd song is one where Powell shines, that being "I Know A Little".

Yay for the masses of goodness. :)

"Gimmie Three Steps", "Tuesday's Gone" and "Simple Man" are my top three.
