And suddenly I have the day off

Continuing drama from the New Year's flood. Today, workers came to pull up carpet and replace the warped floorboards. kshandra stayed home to let them in and, well, be here with all our stuff. After they left, we learned that the carpet people will be here tomorrow to do an estimate. So i called Adam to let him know I had to wait for them.

Great timing.

At least I'll have time to catch up on some of my writing.

On how quickly they work & how much furniture they feel they need to move to measure the space accurately (that is IF they are going for accuracy).

I've seen these people take all day to measure a bathroom or twenty minutes to measure a mansion there's no telling.
