I used to be active in the SCA. I also have a fair amount of theoretical knowledge about the BDSM scene, from my early days on the Net. The combination of these factors meant that whenever I saw some someone leading a cute young thing around by a leash (or, just as often, being led by them), I had to fight the urge to tell them two things:
(1) Please keep your scene private, and do not force it on others who are playing their own game this weekend and probably don't want to participate in yours.
(2) If your slave is frisking about on her leash like that, she is obviously in need of sterner discipline, and YOU need to learn more about being a Master or Mistress. If you insist on doing it in public, do it RIGHT.
