With one false start, and triple-checking to make sure that neither Marty or Mr. K had been left behind (beacuae I sure don't want to spend the next week and a half dealing with a surly teddy bear and penguin,) kshandra is heading out for That Thing In The Desert.

Which, I'll admit, made loading a far easier task than in years past.

So now I'm monitoring her planned route of march on traffic.com, and providing updates as needed.

My plans for her absence involve doing the piles of laundry that have accumulated, and trying to beat the apartment into submission.

From what I've read, BM is always scheduled for the Monday before Labor Day through Labor Day. That being the case, you can blame the Dems for scheduling their convention during Burning Man.
