I need ten grand and three weeks of vacation time.

In the footsteps of Alexander

Oh, hell yeah! Not sure how much fun [livejournal.com profile] kshandra would have doing three weeks of ruins and museums, but I'd be in history geek heaven.

Hey, if she doesn't want to go with you, I will! (I *wish* - I'm not physically capable of that kind of travel any more, but this would... oh ghods, my list of things/places1 I wanted to see - pyramids, Parthenon, Macchu Picchu, Notre Dame, Crete, Santorini, Babylon, the rest of Greece/Middle East/Italy, Stonehenge, Avebury... endless list.)

If I win the lottery, I'd taking a year off to do this (and many other things).

(As a teacher, I can't take a holiday when this trip runs, otherwise I'd have done it already.)

Oooh! Neat!

I could go for a trip like that. It might be a bit more physically challenging than the two weeks traveling around Japan, but it still sounds like fun.

I keep playing the lottery. I'll let you know if anything Real Neat Happens. $10- my biggest win so far - won't do much but buy more lottery tickets. But it does make me one of the million winners each week! :P
