Yay!!! Stephanie won!!!!! I was rooting for her all along. I liked her approach, her simple menus and flavors, and mostly her complete lack of an attitude. She was there to cook, and the drama could be shelved.

Richard shot himself in the foot by trying to do too much. He, as he admitted at Judges Table, over thought the menu. His "I choked" speech was one of the best and most honest moments I've ever seen. He deserves a lot of credit for standing up and telling the truth.

Lisa... I just never warmed to her. She's a great chef, certainly, but as several judges pointed out she had a "fuck it" attitude for much of the competition. Since I'm not tasting the food (and honestly, being me I wouldn't eat 2/3rds of what they make.. can I get a burger over here?) I pick favorites based on what I see and hear. Her "you could have congratulated me" moment in the stew room was bizarre.

Good season, some very fun challenges, and some great food.

Now onto Project Runway!

In other food news, I can't eat. My lower plate comes loose whenever I chew. I'm sure this will be addressed when the reline happens, but in the meantime it is very annoying.
