I am not a Juror, I am a free man!
Actually, I am a juror.. number 6 to be precise. Neither lawyer seemed to put out by a cancer survivor on the jury, they just determined that I could be impartial and judge the case on it's merits.
I did manage to get a laugh. When the entire mob of potential jurors was in the room, the bailiff was instructing us on courtroom procedure, and mentioned that the wearing of hats was prohibited, except for religious reasons.
"So," says I, "Do the Giants count?" I was, of course, wearing my Giants cap.
Supposed to last 4-5 weeks. We'll see what happens.

I always knew...

The Fully Informed Jury Association (http://www.fija.org) has a ton of information about jury nullification. I believe it is your duty to find a non-guilty verdict if you disagree with the law, regardless of any instruction from the court.
