That's it, I'm melting my dice.

Some moron has written, and other morons have published, a RPG supplement about abortion.

And to think that Back In The Day we got all bothered about Module B3 - Palace of the Silver Princess

What's your opinion on so-caled documentary gaming? Perhaps this is meant to put people into different roles for these issues.

That being said, so-called docu-gaming has including things ranging from the Columbine shooting to playing hitler in WW2.

I'm from the era when the RPG hobby had a F at the front. For Fantasy. I really can't understand why someone would want a supplement like this. You want to get involved in the current debate on abortion? It's really out there for you. I can't organize a band of space pirates to raid the diamond mines of Tau Ceti IV, but I can volunteer as a clinic escort.

Then there is the fact that I feel there are some issues that shouldn't be part of a RPG. Pretty much anything that is likely to cause real dissension at the table should be left aside.

Role-playing as a method of exploring historical events is fine. Play Hitler, or act out the debates over Roe v. Wade, but do we really need an Abortion Provider character class?
