Remember, they're doing this against a manager who doesn't understand that the pitcher is supposed to bat 9th. So take it with a grain of salt.

A manager who has several World Series rings in both leagues. If you think the pitcher fits in the eight-slot, use him there.

Woo hoo! We can but hope we have someone for our future. It will be particularly nice if he's still this good after one trip around the league, after everyone gets a chance to see him. And if so, we can say, "We saw him back in the day...."
