Northward, ho!

This afternoon I bought my tickets for the Great November Trek to see [livejournal.com profile] eleri and attend OryCon. $92 round trip on Greyhound. This is the most money I've just spent on myself in years in one drop. It feels very odd.

Also odd is the sensation of having a girlfriend. When we first became poly, it was because of what cancer did to my sex drive. I really never thought I'd get it back! But it's here, and dropping hints about "making up for lost time." Who am I to argue?

I'll be in the Portland area from November 18th to the 25th. A nice little vacation.

To quote The American President, "My nervousness exists on many levels..."

Of course, now that I've spent the money, Foster City is going to hire me Monday

You might want to add copies of CPR and Emergency Care. What You Should Know, The Kama Sutra for Epileptics and Hiding Bodies for Dummies

So what do I have to do to get you to the Big Apple?

Um, get me more money? Seriously, this little trip is putting a large strain on our finances.

Once I get some sort of job I'd love to come meet y'all. Sometime next baseball season would be best, because a pilgrimage to Yankee Stadium would be a must for me.

To turn this around, what do we have to do to get you out to Bagdhad By The Bay?

Hey! If I hide in your suitcase, and fly with you, we could power the who eastern seaboard!

The body and mind are wonderous things. You never when things will "become active." ;)

Remember, it's OK to let a new job know that you have plans for a trip in place.
