My computer's speakers are less than three feet from me. I'm listening to Metallica's S&M album. I can barely hear it.

Meanwhile, my floor is literally vibrating from the stereo downstairs. I just had to ask the kids next door to turn their music down. I guess that having a day off means I spend all fucking day listening to what my neighbors want whether I want to or not!

I really need this on a day when I'm coming off a crappy day at work and a major stress attack. Seriously, it is a good thing I do not have easy access to firearms right now.

While a whiff of grapeshot would do wonders for the piece and quiet around here, I'm thinking about the possible drawbacks of blowing large holes in the support members of the apartment directly below mine. Kiri wants to live in a first-floor place, but a sudden collapse isn't the best means of achieving the goal, IMNSHO.
