I see a train-wreck approaching.

I'm a guest at Silicon 2007. At least, I think I am. So far:

I have been directed to a guest survey form that still had "Baycon" in many places.

Received a "schedule" email that was empty.

After asking about that, i was told to wait and I'd get a replacement soon.

Tonight, I get an email with the first few programming items (cut off mid word) and a link to see my schedule. I click the link, try to log in, and get...

nothing. It just keeps recycling to the log in page.

Oh, yeah.. I'm loving this event already.

they're using someone else's web code with the serial numbers filed off for guest intake,

*raises eyebrows* I didn't know that.

Seems they took off a bit more than just the serial numbers, given how broke it seems to be...

The intake form that I filled out when first invited worked great. And it was pretty much identical to Baycon's. In fact, in several places where it should have said "SiliCon" it still read Baycon.
