Sports overload!

Today, I have a cornucopia of sports to watch.

Right now, I have the final stage of Le Tour de France.

At Noon, Arena Bowl XXI pits my San Jose Sabercats against the Columbus Destroyers. but...

At 1300 we have the Giants playing the Marlins, with Bonds one shy of tying Aaron and the Giants riding a four-game winning streak.

Want more?

At 1500 coverage of the San Jose Grand Prix begins. While I'm annoyed by the money losing event, Seeing cars do over 100mph legally down our city streets could be fun.

I have beer. Today is going to be good.

I'd be on my sofa surfing right along with you if I hadn't been offered tickets for the SJGP. I have noise-canceling headphones and will see if they deaden the roar sufficiently for me to listen to the Giants game as well, but I'm not confident of this.

Do they pass anywhere near the apartment?

Nope. We're here (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=5751+Almaden+Road,+San+Jose,+Ca,+95118&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=30.599615,59.765625&ie=UTF8&ll=37.272414,-121.878891&spn=0.239872,0.466919&z=11&om=1)

The race course is downtown, about five miles from here.

The course does pass close to Kirsten's office, and complicated my getting home Friday because of the break in lightrail service.
