A number of different Cubs pitches have been called for balks in the past two seasons, and they've been all bullshit ones... and I've seen more blatant blaks from opposing pitchers in the same game let go. That just makes me very suspicious about the umpiring.
It was so sad. I watched and agonized over that game. Armando comes up and gil_liant comments that now the game is going to end with a 5-4 Mets victory. And it did. Just ... dang. [sighs]
